Book name: The Silent Patient

I love him so totally, completely, sometimes it threatens to overwhelm me. Sometimes I think . . . No. I won’t write about that.
ALICIA Alicia Berenson writes a diary as a release, an outlet – and to prove to her beloved husband that everything is fine. She can’t bear the thought of worrying Gabriel, or causing him pain. Until, late one evening, Alicia shoots Gabriel five times and then never speaks another word.
THEO Forensic psychotherapist Theo Faber is convinced he can successfully treat Alicia, where all others have failed. Obsessed with investigating her crime, his discoveries suggest Alicia’s silence goes far deeper than he first thought.
And if she speaks, would he want to hear the truth?
The Silent Patient is a heart-stopping debut thriller about a woman’s brutal and random act of violence against her husband – and the man obsessed with discovering why.
My take on the Book:
OK, After finishing this book my mind was literally blown out! I couldn’t stop thinking about this book for a week!!! This is one psychological thriller that i would recommend each and everyone out there to read just once. I promise, you wont be disappointed. The way Alicia and Theo takes you through the story is tremendous. The only part i did not like is the parallel story line of Greek mythology which i think could have been better. This thriller is definitely a Page turner (because i finished it in less than 3 days 😉 ) and the Climax of the book is extraordinarily written. and guess what? this is a Debut novel by the Author. (mind blown again!) Hats of to the Author for giving such amazing thriller novel. I am so happy that this much hyped book lived up to its hype 100% for me and hopefully i will be able to read more of Alex’s books in future 🙂
My ratings : * * * * 1/2
Will I recommend this book?
